Slow Art Collective launched a transformative three-week residency project at Taragaon Next in Kathmandu. It was a mind-blowing experience, allowing us to push the boundaries of our artistic practice further than ever before.
The project was deeply inspired by the sensory-rich city of Kathmandu—a place where you see pipes sticking out on every street, vibrant colors from shrines and temples, and streets packed with honking cars and bikes, all while birds, dogs, and chipmunks exist peacefully alongside the beautiful chaos.
Collaborating closely with the energetic and powerful young team at Taragaon Next, the entire creative process was filled with joy, immense energy, and hope.
