INTERNATIONAL WOMEN’S DAY at QV Women’s Centre

Slow Art Collective were commissioned to create a festive impactful canopy that would connect the QV Women’s Centre to the surrounding area of QV as a way of reintroducing the building and its new shop to the public and the surrounding space in time for International Women’s Day. The space was used as an interactive weaving pavilion, performance space and rest area for the public. The canopy was made from handmade macrame using weather-resistant rope.
